Very well defined gated track, climbing steeply up from the West and crossing moorland till it joins UCR 3132 towards Matterdale
Generally undulating but has steep hills

Mostly good, but badly damaged in places by Storm Desmond
Sensitivity: Weather
Hill up from St Johns in the Vale is severely washed out in places and dangerous to all but the most experienced
Questionable as to whether 4x4s should use it at all at present. Certainly survey before proceeding
